Depends how canny you are with it, I suppose. Average U.K. annual salary is circa £30k: I would argue that if you’re earning £6k per week it’s quite possible that you wouldn’t have to find another career at the end of your 10-15 years in football. Not unless you wanted to, anyway.It's not a lot for a career where you have 10 to 15 years at the top and then need to find another job and start from the bottom again
