The only catch is you cannot tell a soul - if you do, the deal flips and we will automatically be relegated even after the bung - and Johan Lange gets to keep his job.

You know what @thfcsteff, this occurred to me last night. In any walk of life I’ve experienced, rich people don’t like getting less rich and will do anything to avoid it. There’s no level I haven’t seen people sink to to avoid accountability particularly when it comes to money. Surely our mob wouldn’t be stupid enough to try something like this though.

Knowing the level of competence we’re dealing with, they’d probably do it and then claim the credit for it publicly if we avoid relegation.
