Well paratici obviously disagrees with you as we got danjuma.
Was that really Paratici though? Or was that Levy saying 'go on then' when Danjuma's agent called up?

I don’t think levy is involved in any signings, like people seem to think, anymoreWas that really Paratici though? Or was that Levy saying 'go on then' when Danjuma's agent called up?
AgreeExcept Kane (thankfully) has been available all season. Therefore Richarlison, Son and Kulu are fighting for two positions. Richarlison works far better from the left than the right. I suspect that Conte saw things like the below:
Son-------------Kane-----------Kulu
(Richy)-------(Richy)----------(Zaniolo)
In the event that both Kane and Son were out then Perisic would likely play as the left sided attacker. We had no real need for another LWF, it was cover at RWF (direct replacement for Gill) that we needed.
We now instead look like the below which leaves us exposed on the right side:
Son-------------Kane------------Kulu
(Richy)--------(Richy)----------(Moura)
(Danjuma)
Yep.... but the manager pretty clearly feels we haven't needed him. The manager is the person that is responsible for results and pays with his job when he doesn't meet the chairman's ambition of 4th place.Well paratici obviously disagrees with you as we got danjuma.
Conte wanted Zaniolo as a long term option to cover the RWF and CM positions. The club signed Danjuma, a LWF option, because it was a cheap and easy deal to do. This is why our managers get frustrated and eventually sacked.
He did
But they wanted twice as much from us
I doubt they asked Milan for the same money but who knowsAnd from AC Milan where it was reported he wanted to go.
When the window closed for both of us they wanted rid but didn't have the same options available
He had a hand in the goal too. Ran a long way to press their goalie, forcing a bad kick from him, and we ended up winning the ball. He pressed from the moment he got on.Nice to see him actually get on the pitch.

If his club take a straight swap for Lo Celso then he might even stay.Hard to see us signing him this summer, or at least he'll be starting from scratch given new manager, possibly a new DoF and limited game time. Our forward situation will also need tinkering this summer once Danjuma has gone back to his parent club and Moura released.
Means we'll have Kane, Son, Kulu, Richie and, if we appoint a back 4 manager, Perisic would become a forward option and Gil will come back again, even if temporarily.
Whilst we can probably sign a keeper before a new manager arrives, how we decide to strengthen the forwards needs to wait for the manager given you'd set up your options very different for a 4-3-3 manager compared to a 4-2-3-1 for example.
Danjuma was a weird signing, but I guess its only wasted 6 months of his career
Would be good business from both sidesIf his club take a straight swap for Lo Celso then he might even stay.

I'd be happy to see Perisic leave, but what indication is there that he wants to leave?Depends on what he is like in training and what the fee is.
Danjuma +Richi give us a lot more press in the forward line, something we lack with Kane & Son
Perisic wants to leave, he knows he's struggling with the pace here, he'll get an offer in Italy/Spain, we will take it
If we continue to play 3 up front I think there is room, if we go for something else, probably best to let him go.
