To be honest, this is probably the first reverse we can blame on Conte specifically.

Everything - everything - came down to not subbing Tanganga at half-time. It was mystifying - Tanganga had already been done by Hudson-Odoi heading into half-time, was on a yellow, one more foul and he was off.

The whole ground saw it, the whole world saw it.

Tanganga stays on, no changes. Second half, Hudson-Odoi goes past Tanganga, he can't challenge, passes to Ziyech, 1-0.

Hudson-Odoi goes past Tanganga again, Dier brings him down, free-kick from the right, Silva header, 2-0.

Changes come just after that, but faaar too late.

Baffling why Tanganga stayed on. Utterly baffling.
