Christian Eriksen

Very true Barry. Most are only using it as an excuse to get more money.
It's a bit like F1 for me, it would take the gloss off winning olif your car is much superior to everyone else's. I would always wonder was I only winning the CL because I'm in a good team. could the team win without me or am I essential. Maybe that's just me though

I think it is. The players just look at the medals and the money.

I can see the appeal though - put yourself in the best professional environment to get the most for your ability.
If you are a good striker, but you'll never be Aguero, why not go and be "the Aguero of Serie A"

Only 4?, I guess you did not see many games then.

Chelsea, Arsenal and QPR at home. WBA away.
What other games did we play well?
I was at the home legs of Sheffield Utd and Fiorentina and we were woeful.
Even in a number of games we won we were horrible to watch and typically labored to wins by a single goal, often against 10 men or against the run of play.

I've excluded all the Europa league group games as the opponents were pub sides.

We finished 5th because Liverpool and Southampton bottled it. We didn't get there because we were somehow good. We were out of the champions league race by February effectively.

I tend to watch the matches not the stats and league positions.
Matches like Palace twice, Stoke twice, Saudi Sportswashing Machine, wba, villa and drawing with Burnley.
Disgraceful amount of points dropped for a team claiming to be challenging for the champions league. Embarrassing in fact.
And yet people try to dress last season up as a success.

Chel53a, Ar5ena1 and QPR at home. WBA away.

So therefore we didn't bottle it. We got there because we got the fifth highest amount of points. You get points by wins and draws.

Eriksen was supposed to be joining up with the danish squad today, but has stayed in London to get treatment on his knee.
Danish FA say that he is doubtful for the game on saturday against Albania.

Weird to 'like' a player being injured. Especially one of our own! But I'm excited by Eriksen/ Kane with Son and NJ, plus Pritchard and Chadli. Eriksen could be key to releasing these players from midifeld, and I think they will create more space for him too.

I 'liked' the giving of the information NOT subject matter! 'Thanks' would be a good button!

He could do with a bit of pressure for his place, so if he is out - hopefully he comes back to a scenario where he has to earn his spot back

Sorry mate that is rubbish, you have been banging on about us dropping points against lower teams so if anyone bottled it that was us. You can not have it both ways no matter how hard you try or how much you want to slag off Levy.

I'd actually swap the 6 points we got from arsenal and Chelsea for wins in all the games I mentioned. We'd have been quite a bit better off.

Anyway, I've gone OT.
If eriksen stayed in London for treatment that's good news.

Sounds more genuine than "he's got a bit of an injury and we're not telling you how long he'll be out for or where he even is"
