And Sterling has been playing as an out and out Striker at times ..

And this is why Eriksen has to be closer to the striker and not stuck out on the left. Yes he can still be effective from the wide position but his shooting ability and eye for a pass are way more useful closer to the striker.

Yet his record when playing from the left ****es over his record when playing centrally behind the striker. He's harder to pick up and he can move into the space where he causes damage rather than already being there and having to wait to be picked out.

I wonder how the table will look like after the matches today. Hope Eriksen can score and become the top goal scoring midfielder of 2014, excluding the penalties. But somehow, can see Yayo Toure scoring a few and beating Eriksen to the title.
