Contingency planning : If Ange is sacked, who should replace him?

Honestly, not sure who would come to this clownshow under Levy. We are an entertaining club for sure, and even Ange said he watched when Conte had his interview and was then sacked.

I think managers will think twice about coming to us as they know they have a window of what 18 months maximum until they are pretty much sacked? Thomas Frank has it all at Brentford, and I ask a serious question why would he come to Spurs?

I say that for any manager in the premier league now, yes we have money, yes we have a stadium, but we do put a bit of a stain on peoples CV's, yet they do go on to manage other clubs, and successfully I guess.
Ryan Mason - again.

He's always looked more competent in the role than Ange ever has. Plus he now has 18 months more of lessons of how not to do things, the best training for a young manager
Has he?
I must have missed his run of 10 games unbeaten.
His destruction of teams of the quality of villa, utd and city.
I know things are not easy just now, I understand the desire to sack ange, but is it the Mandela effect where crowds of people misrember events?

And for that reason if no other it's why I wouldn't be sacking ange.

Sadly, it’s getting to the point at which I’m not sure he’d do any worse. The frustration for me is that he’ll get it for 5 or 6 months, so we’d be treading water yet again.

He is not good enough.
It's commendable and laudable the club gave him a job, but it should not have been at that level.
It's stuff like that that holds us back.
That's mason BTW.

I would be looking at our squad in comparison to others, and think that if I sorted it the shape and defensive side as manager I'd concede a lot less and win more.

I'd look at the ground, facilities, location etc. I'd see how much has been spent since Ange took over.

I don't think there is much that wouldn't make us attractive to a manager unless he's at a super club. We're the best option most will ever get offered in their life. You've got 2 years to show something, if it doesn't work a good pay packet and no harm on your rep cause nobody else has achieved anything.

Dream job.

Yeah, I don’t think he’s a long term solution. I do think he might pick us up more points before season’s end than sticking with Ange, though - if Ange simply isn’t going to adapt.

As I said, though, in some ways we’re writing off another 6 months were Mason to pick it up to season’s end.

Of the managers available that will not cost anything (which would be a factor don't you worry) Edin Terzic would be the one who could work with this squad the best quickly I think? Albeit no PL experience.

He does have EPL experience. He was at West Ham for 2 years as Bilic's assistant

The guy that got us our highest PL finish, took us to a CL final, turned round the binfire that is Chelsea isn't experienced enough for some of our supports Steff, a guy with a few years in a team league is not going to hack it.

Is this the part Ange refuses to do or we don't have anyone who does it, or this gameplay isn't something Ange will ever do? Genuinely don't know, if someone could spread a bit of light

We don't change and we are way too easy to plan/play against

- brick teams just need to sit deep, work hard and bet on one of the 5-10 counters a game they will get to capitalize on
- Good teams will simply bet on outscoring us

Only 2 teams in the league have lost more than us, and no one outside the bottom 4 has lost the same as us.

This is beyond injuries/squad depth/investment problems
