Coronavirus

So Novaxx Djcovid is currently in a hotel waiting to see if he is going to be deported or if he can play in the Australian Open. I don’t think the Aussie Open organisers should have made the exception for him. I think he’s unwise not to get jabbed but I do also believe people shouldn’t be forced to either. Bit of perfection that he arrived there and refused entry. Should have made it Crystal clear to him that they wouldn’t let him into the country before he travelled.

Ridiculous state of affairs and I hope she recovers soon.

Appears that hospitalisations in London nearly peaked now but other regions still seeing increasing numbers of patients.

Just one point hospitalisations and hospital admissions are 2 different things. Hospital admissions are the amount that go to a&e. Hospitalisations are the amount in hospital. Not all admissions will be kept in. The number that are, will have to fall below the number of discharges before hospitalisations start to fall.

The issue surely isn't with djokovic, but the government.
They asked for info, he provided it, they said fine in you come.
Uproar ensures, not originally as i understand it for him getting in per se, but the fact that yet again it's one rule for us, one rule for you plebs.
Now its backtrack and deflection, but ultimately they issued him a visa, he was perfectly entitled to enter the country.

Other regions hospitalisations should be nowhere near London levels, as London was the massive outlier on unvaccinated population
