As long as the protests are peaceful and don’t spill over into intimidation or violence then I don’t see the issue. I mean if you can’t protest after 25 years then when can you.

I wasn't meaning it in that respect, I mean from the fact it will be visible clearly on the day, reported in the media and on Sky and picked up by everyone, that kind of "disrupter"

I think its clearly a significant enough movement that warrants conversation considering it will be fairly well reported news on Sunday

Well the general tone appears that people are just unhappy that they don’t go along with everything the club say and do as gospel. Not saying I agree with everything CFT do but the fans have some legitimate points and after 25 years of the same ownership I can see why it clouds their judgement. Someone made a comment about them being too emotional which is a fair point, there’s a time and a place for being emotional but when it comes to sport, work, business etc then it’s not a good recipe.

Ive said many a time I respect their right to protest ive also said they have some valid points. My general points have been mentioned in other posts today, the communication is poor, I struggle to know what they stand for, change is massively broad, the "right type of fan" and members of their stearing constantly berating tourists just leaves a bad taste too.

Protesting on a managers first game about a transfer window that hasn't closed because of the emotional of fans post Bayern....just seems slightly odd to me

I think this messaging is SO dumb. It’s a really poor critique of ENIC, that is so easy for ENIC to combat.

Profit over glory just suggests that they are trying to siphon profits out of the club in order to line their pockets, results be damned. That isn’t what is happening, they ARE reinvesting profits. There’s a world in which they line their own pockets more and we’re a consistently bottom 5 team. But that just isn’t what is happening.

I think it’s really confused messaging and not smart. And not going to remotely lead to the outcome they want, or even really worry ENIC. It’s just rubbish. If you had a singular message that they are charging the highest ticket prices but not producing a title challenger, then fine. It’s at least kind of logical. But they aren’t even doing that.

I would always say the actual critique is them not being suited to get us to consistent title contention in the quickest possible timeframe, and other owners would be better for that. But they are great at raising our floor in terms of earnings, and allowing ourselves to spend our way back to being a top 6 club more often than not. So I say again, profit over glory is dumb as a tagline. It’s the wrong critique, and they aren’t going to achieve the outcome they want from it, or even get remotely near to affecting any sort of change. It’s all around crap.

It is ludicrous to have a protest whilst the transfer window is still open. We may or may not be about to sign some good players, but we just don't know yet.

It is ludicrous to have a protest whilst the transfer window is still open. We may or may not be about to sign some good players, but we just don't know yet.

But even if we do sign some (more) good players, it won't have been quick enough because Levy is haggling over the price. Hence the protest can be justified* because we are starting the season without our transfer activity being completed.

This was the statement by Levy when the last financials were released.

The Hotel will need to be part of a significantly larger development with other external stakeholders. This is a long-term project which would be nonrecourse to the Club and be part of the redevelopment of High Road West as well as other sites.

People just won't have it mate, there is all sorts of factors relating to the hotel.

The major weirdness around it is people think they money we are using from THFC side to make it happen, could some how be used to fund players if not the hotel..................absolutely not how it works
