Danny Rose

Rose proven to be top quality again, was excellent last night. Aurier was not too bad on the right and I think he has abit more about him in defence than Trippier who wimps out of too much
 
How did Kante not get send off last night for his retaliation on Danny? You actually saw him lose his head and that could have done some serious damage.

Agree with all of that, i am a fan of Davies ( and think he is underated by many)but Rose seems to be getting back to how he was before the brick hit the fan.

I think calling us bottlers for losing on penalties with 3 of our 4 best players out is harsh but at some point this team does need to win something. We’ve punched above our weight financially but we are our worst the 4th best team in the country and we have the talent to be winning trophies.

Actually didnt think it was that good - Llorentes header was that of a master and made it look a lot better.

Lofted, no power on it, and long.

Llorente made the header, not only guiding it but putting the power into it, jumping backwards past the back post.

I really dont think it was a "beautiful cross" at all.

His crossing all night was actually abysmal.

BUT - its an assist, a goal, and a winner - so thats nice.
 
He did supply the cross for the winner but on most occasions he wasted the time he had to put in crosses by trying to be to clever. Not saying he had a bad game but it was not one of his best. imo

I think Lllorente actually put the header a bit too close to Foster who COULD have saved it. A real master would have had the ball hit the side netting AND done a pirouette in the air (full 360) and stuck the landing. Also, you are right about the cross. Rose's planted foot needed to be 16 degrees more pronated. Real rubbish goal and not at all enjoyable. And rubbish celebrations. You'd have thought we won the league with the fuss at the goal. We're super small time and everyone was laughing at us and our bottling mentality. Poch out. Levy out. ENIC out.

I thought his will to win and drive were vital, indeed, along with Winks he really went for it. He crosses earlier when Dele and Kane play, so maybe this will encourage earlier on Saturday. TBH he has really stepped up and proven me wrong this season and I am grateful for it.

That's because Watford recognised the danger posed from him and doubled up on him everything he had the ball. Despite that he still created the winner.
