Poch seems to disagree. And if you just watch them play...it's clear Rose is the more able in attack. Davies is a good defender, less able going forward. You do tend to have certain players you don't like. Rose, Dembele were two.

Couldn’t agree more. There aren’t many left backs in the league I’d take over Rose and Davies is not just a very good left back, he can fill in at centre back if required. Of all the places we need new players, left back is very low down the list.
If we bought Wan Bissaka, we'd have a better right back than both of our left backs put together

Interesting to talk of Davies being limited in attack, if you look over the last few years his numbers and Roses are basically the same...

Rose has a better mentality than Davies. More of a big game player, can handle competition for his place better. The only top spell Davies has had was when Rose was completely out of the picture. And he did play very well in that period. Just seems to take quite a lot to get him to that level.
