Letting both Spence and Romero go does tie in with what the manager said at the end of last season about only 11 or 12 (I think?) players being good enough to bring with him this coming season.

They are being let go either because he doesn’t want them, they are not fully committed, or a combination of both.

Absolutely, no dispute on that rationale from me???

Ultimately now we have to show this famous new Lewis Family ambition and invest the money to improve the first team, because currently it looks fairly blunt in many areas

Liverpool have been unusually slow this window. Perhaps it to do with the new ownership stakes being negotiated.

He lived in Genoa for a spring, so knows the Italian way of life. Milan isn't a great city, it's a bit their Manchester, but I'd probably choose it over Liverpool. Inter are doing well under a good coach too
