ENIC

Get what? Winning diddly squat for 25 years? I think most fans outside of this forum get that and aren’t happy about it. All the commercial stuff, the ground etc are great but what happens on the pitch is the most important part as we are a football club after all. But for you it appears to be the opposite. Winning on the pitch is the last priority and a bonus as long as we have the best balance sheet.
We don’t have a good balance sheet
We lose money

We are competing in a rigged game and only the cheats are doing better than us.

Don't bother .. it's the rathole

- Owners taking out the money -> proof it doesn't happen
- Well we have huge pots of cash we are doing nothing with -> again, data shows different
- Well we don't spend money -> top 4 spend in last 5 years
- Well, not net spend -> data again
- Well, it's wages/turnover I meant -> show that the wages to turnover of 3 of the most successful sides in Europe are closer to us than average
- Well .. they just suck ... because a club that has won 17 trophies in 140+ fudging years isn't winning at the same rate as Elite level or money rigged clubs ..

This is the same as every fudging argument on the internet nowadays .. no nuance, no give. You agree the club trophy haul under ENIC not good enough, ok, anything ENIC/Levy did right? no, everything wrong is them, everything good is sheer luck or same as everyone else.

You correct any of those points above, you are a Levy apologists ..

fudge, I've said it a hundred times, I could write a lot on what Levy does wrong (and very little of it is aligned to current narrative), I could also write how any fan/protest organization that actually wants change (not just to be AFTV and clickbait monetize) could/should run ..

You'll probably find it isn't 'most fans'

There's a fair chance that the 80/20 split you suggest in this forum is reflective of the general fan base.

Conversely, as with most 'charged' subjects, I wouldn't take twitter as an indication of a large groundswell. Noisy yes, but lacking in nous, knowledge and strategy.

Yep .. twitter by nature is a reactionary brickshow, reddit actually did numbers on their "Spurs" supporters (who are vehemently Levy out), significant percentage are under 25 and American.

Twitter is so bad even people I think are moderate arseholes have left it
Nerve post on it myself for fear of getting ganged up on by macarons
But it’s handy for some insight on some things

I’m levy out… potentially… If I can know what the alternative is

Ahhh .. bingo !!!

And that's the division that is ignored
- Would a significant percentage of Spurs fans be supportive of an owner change with some assurance that owner is for the betterment of the club and results? fudge, I'm sure it's a majority
- Is some percentage (I'd suspect minority) willing to roll the dice and take whatever? yes

I personally don't want to risk Spurs (not that it's in anyway my call or I have any influence) being run into the ground just because "anybody but ENIC/Levy" and the point that people refuse to accept is the odds of it being a "good" owner, financially, morally, whatever, is pretty brick ...

I think it’s that simple
Tell me what it is and I’ll happily have a view

This forum is more pro Levy than other Spurs forums. I wouldn’t necessarily take Twitter as gospel either. But I don’t feel this place reflects real life personally.

Mostly because of the stadium. Once it is paid off and we are debt free it will be a different story.
No
It’s wages and transfer debt mainly as far as I can tell
It’s all there in the details
The write downs are stadium debt but the actual debt associated with player purchases along with abuse wage bill is 90% of the outgoings at a guess

I don't see that at all TBH mate. I see probably more balance here than extremities I see elsewhere. I voyeur some other forums and many are as extreme as a portion of twitter. I think for every two extreme Levy supporters on here there are two extreme Levy out from thay point it's balanced.

Like Beds says, many praise the good, critic the bad and would take a new Chairman depending how that looked

This is the most 'pro Levy' forum on the internet.

Possibly, but it has been around for a very long time (@scaramanga when did this start?), most of us here are older (fudge knows if that means wiser), a lot of actual season ticket holders, or at least people who attend games on a regular (or have) basis, and people who have seen 90's, 80's teams in person, seen the good and the bad.

If your echo chamber is <23's who think City & Chelsea are legitimate top sides, and who are either brought up on AFTV type reactions and/or American, you will likely get a different perspective.

Was originally Spurs Update in the late 90’s
