I seem to recall when that happened the point was made that the medical team/equipment at Spurs was top notch. That at any other PL ground he may have been in trouble.

I would assume that the facilities at a national stadium would be as good. Being in the capital probably means being near higher quality hospitals too.

Wasn't there a heart surgeon or other specialist in the crowd who came to help? Since Muamba and a few others they have become aware of this rare danger so there should be equipment and facilities to keep him alive until they get to hospital and give a him some chance.

That was decidedly unpleasant, and quite why they stayed with the footage on the BBC for so long is anyone's guess.

I’ve worked in TV for 20 years, there are plans and protocols for such events, but when something distressing happens it’s hard to think straight. I’ve never done sport but I expect it’s harder when there is that connection.
