Playing at 3.30pm this afternoon
Will mean my last 4 rounds have all been in 30c heat, still I'd rather that than rain and wind haha

I played yesterday , walked off after 15 holes was way to hot.

To be fair couple courses I’ve played recently desperate for the rain. Some tight lies out there. I’m playing fairly well at moment just can’t seem to get a full 18 together.

ha ha if you're having a bad round heat just gets you frustrated. Not a fan of playing in roasting heat unless I have a buggy, when I play in Spain always tee off around 7.30/8 which is weird cos you get the dew initially then it dries out when the sun rises. Finish about 11 and I'm usually dripping in sweat.

I shot 84, but played some really good golf as my score breakdown shows

8 pars, 2 double bogeys and one triple where I had a horrendous bounce and the ball went sideways and rolled into a lake haha

I get tired the last few holes, it's a really hilly course and also start to get an achy arm, I think I hit too many balls warming up too

Also got stung by a wasp on the driving range too, that hurt

Not surprised in this heat. I rarely hit before a round but should as it makes a difference.

I really want to play golf tonight but am not risking it as we keep having massive downpours

I've booked in for 6.16am on Thursday morning, will have to get up at 5am but worth it for a lovely sunny morning on the course

love early morning golf as now I’m home to spend the rest of my day off with the kids in the sunshine

Not my divot BTW !!

Walking
Am hitting it very straight off the tee currently so there was no time looking for balls etc

Am teeing off at 6.08am on Tuesday am going to try for a sub 2 hour round
Jeez, that is super fast. Takes me 90 mins for the first 9, then a bit more for the second 9 as it is up hill and down dale.
This includes ~10 minutes of looking in trees and thorny bushes.
Looks like a very well maintained, open course. Mine is more of a state with horrific trees/rough/bunkers/pond sludge/broken bricks/dead people

It's fantastic, fairways and tees always beautifully cut and very green, you just don't get a bad lie
Greens are meticulously maintained too
It costs me between £16 and £20 to play !!! insane for how good it is, it's quite a tough course too
