More than that at a guessHow many has he started and actually completed?
You're brave.More than that at a guess
Just checked games played for us.....How many has he started and actually completed?
FWIW... figures from www.transfermarkt.co.ukJust checked games played for us.....
198 games he has partaken in
32 goals of which 11 have come in europe and half of those were Europa
So Eriksen twice as much in the same periodJust for comparison... figures from www.transfermarkt.co.uk
Lamela has played 11,488 minutes across 6.5 seasons
Son has played 13,071 minutes across 4.5 seasons
Dele has played 15,165 minutes across 4.5 seasons
Dier has played 17,985 minutes across 5.5 seasons
Eriksen has played 23,566 minutes across 6.5 seasons
Yup, Lamela’s persistent injury woes mean that only Chiriches and Capoue played fewer minutes per season for Spurs after we traded in Bale for the Magnificent Seven. So Eriksen twice as much in the same period
My constant issue with Lamela (apart from his one footedness) is that he gets his injuries in training, not on the match day pitch. I mean WTF is he doing in training to get injured all the timeYup, Lamela’s persistent injury woes mean that only Chiriches and Capoue played fewer minutes per season for Spurs after we traded in Bale for the Magnificent Seven.
And despite our Welsh wonder’s injury problems / love of golf he’s still managed 50% more playing time since 2013 than Coco.
Eriksen: 23,566 minutes across 6.5 seasons = 3,626 mins per season
Bale: 17,374 minutes across 6.5 seasons = 2,673 mps
Chadli: 6,554 minutes across 3 seasons = 2,185 mps
Soldado: 4,303 minutes across 2 seasons = 2,152 mps
Paulinho: 4,246 minutes across 2 seasons = 2,123 mps
Lamela: 11,488 minutes across 6.5 seasons = 1,767 mps
Chiriches: 3,508 minutes across 2 seasons = 1,754 mps
Capoue: 2,406 minutes across 2 seasons = 1,203 mps

We have changed managers and coaches. He still gets injured. It’s not the staffFTFY
FTFY
If he was a horse he would have been shotYou can't blame a player for injuries no matter often they occur, you can though decide (and should ) not to rely on said player for the short periods they are available.

There's an interesting discussion on tactical periodisation on the latest Extra Inch podcast that might help explain your point.
