I'm a bit tinkled. But here we go.

I seriously don't care what colour the next bond is or turning the st georges into a rainbow flag.

What i care about is that the uk is becoming ever more dividedand angry. People are purposefully doing things they know will just extrapolate that division.

The country is so angry. Stressed.

Seriously we need to find common ground. Things we agree on. Otherwise it's going to get bad. You're going to let in some politicians that you seriously don't want. Sweeden. Denmark. Italy.
This is nonsense though, GB news style hyperbolic nonsense. When I go out into the world every day I see a community working together, I don't see the 'division' perpetuated on the telly or social media.

It's only going to get worse with the division agenda that's going to fuel the GE this year.

My parents local politician in the local paper, in an area that pretty socially deprived talking about the trans debate, when the local council and area is skint. Despicable levels of priorities IMO

Divide and rule, worked for the ruling powers for centuries.

You obviously didn't live in the area where i lived, where they were having sword fights in the street at 16:00 in the afternoon.

Camden by the way.

I do on socials and in politics, its certainly there. But as you say still green shoots of hope out there in the real world.

The issue is all division is seemingly lumped I to one pot currently and people are becoming weirdly less tolerant, I'm shocked that the flag issue hasn't been blamed on immigration, such is everything feeding into each other.

If I'm going to get deep into the subject, is it uproar worthy to show solidarity with homosexuality in sport? Are those showing solidarity to be blamed of those with a low tolerance level? Given the 1 in 3 are gay stats and only one pro player globally out as gay, maybe its a lack of tolerance that is a blocker to progress more than a flag on a shirt.

Live and let live, no one hurts me, I don't hurt them

Anyway that's my worth for all it's......well worth.

Home of the brave. Have they finished work on High Street and Eversholt Street, bloody nightmare at Christmas.

I consider myself a citizen of the world. I'm Scottish, German, Australian, English and Irish.

I find loyalty to the place of your birth absurd. If you look back far enough in human history or evolution we're all the same.

If you want to support a nation you have an affinity for in sporting competition, go for it. Power to you.

But don't try and latch on to tradition or heritage or claim you're the true version of that nation. Leave that horsebrick out along the way.

I'm using 'you' in a loose sense here, not directed at yourself, just trying to highlight why I find it all very silly.

I'm pretty much the same, I can't identify with any nation because none of them truly or wholly align with my beliefs, and they shouldn't have to.
The shirt thing is to be expected, look at the comments on here when new strips come out, or when I think it was Cardiff and the new owners changed the team colours.
Rightly or wrongly people feel like it belongs to them, changing the badge, colour, motto, stadium name etc is very emotive. I get it, don't totally agree with it, but I get it.

I would get it more if it was mandated to change everywhere. Until the flags changed over buck House we can all live and let live

Thinking like that will get your lights punched out, bloody extremist.

1 in 3 really? Might explain a few things.

I've probably been touched up more in my local than most women. But it's "banter".

Then again i do live in camden.

Could be a bond title.
If only we could, in my experience people say that but really mean live like me.
Everyone has that choice though which is why I think it's odd behaviour. Using a fairly broad stereotype I'm not going to be strutting my stuff in Soho but I don't begrudge those that do, all to their own. People can sh4g as many flags as they want without the England football shirt making an impact on that.

I honestly wonder what's going on upstairs with some people at times if in a day in the life, this stuff upsets them as much as it does. Like racist Eggs with Union Jack's on them.
