the moment any "wunderkid" comes through, the proliferation of wannabe agents, scouts, media exposure, family and friends and the pressure that brings must be having a very negative influence on someone so young, you obviously didn't have round the clock media coverage, smartphones 20 years ago, talent has to be nurtured carefully/

I wonder how many promising young players like Pogba left a club because they were too impatient and didn't make it. Loads of young players with the physical attributes move to clubs where they don't play so much, at exactly the formative stage where they should be learning their craft.

The question might be -> I wonder how many promising young careers were killed by Cheat$ki/City/Manure/Barca stockpiling "the next great thing" and never really committing to developing them?

Players have a choice. Even mananagers and parents. Might say that cheski and Emirates Marketing Project did us favours by luring them and keeping them there.
