Where is the reputable report that says the taking a stand against the ESL stuff was nonsense?.

Welcome back!What did I miss?
No don't bother actually, I'm sure my prediction 18 months ago came completely true. Destroying players one-by-one and brick anti-football by any chance?
If he’s gone because he’s spoken against the ESL to Levy then fair play. I don’t see any other reason you get rid the week before a cup final.

What you need to realise is that I'm not a a Mourinho supporter like you, I'm a Spurs supporter only and so only care about how good he is now and how good he is going to be in the coming seasons were he to remain in charge - and he's been a poor manager for us and will have been a poor manager in the coming seasons, that'sall that matters, he'sdone at the top level, finished - been clear for years. He used to be a great mansger but that's of no use to the club he currently manages - or in this case the one he has been sent packing from
Not sure that confirms anything, does it?
Squad wasn't told of the sacking until it was announced and training was delayed this morning - that can fit the other version of events too
He got us to a final vs City. He didnt have the chance to win it.
Surprised that Potter's odds are as long. Wonder whether Allegri is more likely now given the ESL might push us to go for a name. Mind you, Nagelman's star is on the rise so perhaps he is a name now too

MKSpur Superlikes thisMaybe with five places available to new prolific posters, but they risk being relegated if their like ratio falls.
It just seems really out of character though! If he really got sacked because he was disgusted with the ESL idea then I back him and my respect for him grows massively.
Sol Campbell is on the list! Hahaha.

an abject pelanty shoot out at home to Chelsea, Brentford, a bye... hardly earth shattering wins.
Errm, who said I support Mourinho over Spurs - I am both a Spurs and Mourinho supporter. I have stated the order earlier of my preference. I am not and will not be ashamed to say that. He has been incredibly successful and there are few who have done better.
Back to your post - the fact remains - we are the only club that he has managed since Leiria that will not win a trophy. He got us to a final vs City. He didnt have the chance to win it. I dont know the reason why. He IMHO has not been a poor manager based on the tools available to him but I understand and appreciate that my opinion is MY opinion. I still feel he should have been given time to build HIS team. A high number of the current squad are not his players. Also note that under him, Kane and Son have performed very well and that to me is an understatement.
Finished? Yet he won Man Utd their last trophy how many years ago? What have we won since 2008? If that is what we are using to judge if an entity is finished - your words are damning to our beloved football club.
You cannot make a great omelette without good eggs. Something must always be off. At the end of the day, I remain a Spurs fan until we enter the bloody ESL then I am out of here. There must be a Nigerian football club to support.
