Kit Thread

Ok quickly sketched this just to test the "may look better with the shorts" theory.... and yes it does.... But not very much. Still a hideous kit (and thats without the sponser!!!)

It looks better like that, but I don't see how you can have a sponsor with a fricking sash running right through the centre of it.

I'm surprised at the scorn for the diagonal stripe (not saying I like it) - lots of posters loved the kit with the diagonal blue should section a couple of seasons ago (perhaps because it followed the tinkle-stain shirt?).

I don't mind the stripe in theory, just not the execution in that particular version. Colours look wonky too.

A stripe across the shoulder is very different to a stripe down the shirt like that.

It's not a bad design, it just isn't Spurs. Without the yellow it looks better though.

How much UA actually design when it comes to the kits? Don't they just supply the template and separate design firms come up with the finished product?

The sash is too distinctive. Certainteams have sashes, just like certain teams have horizontal/vertical stripes. We aren't one of them.

Hope it's a tinkle take.

In what way? Both are not typically Spurs.

I do like diagonal stripes, particularly the Peru 1982 shirt but not for a Spurs home shirt.

The perfect Spurs shirt for me is like this (Real Madrid 2012/13) with navy shorts:
