Leaves on the Line..

Had a jumper in front of a train lastnight, people taking over 5 hours to get home, looking forward to the £5 compensation voucher we will get for that

Surely someone could have just moved it, i can not believe that should be able to stop a train. Probably have to fill out a load of forms, health and safety gone mad. Bet no one goes to lost property claiming it either.

I dont think he means a jumper as in clothing you fudger.

Then again it could - I took it as a human who jumped in front of a train.

Probably one of these causing a short circuit. :-"

oh

I cant believe I stooped so low with having a 'debate' with Chich. He just sent a pm suggesting that if he is right he does stuff to my face. and if im right I do the same.

Last night was horrendous, dude jumped or got hit at Chadwell Heath and we were stuck at Maryland for 30 mins so driver opens door and me and my mate went to Westfield Shopping Centre and the Casino. Full of weirdos in there, and dodgy people. Was fun though, dont gamble much so only had beers. Got on train and was rammed, got back at 11-30. rubbish trains are. that is all

Apparently, it was a person! The train driver said he saw someone lean over, heard a whack. saw a dent on the train front but no body was found after a massive seach by police helicopters and ground people. not sure if they did find a body in the end but probably why it took so long.

Ofcourse its a person. Which stadium announcer ever says yeah somethin wrong with the train - a malfunction in the jumper cable... Which runs the current from box A to box B.

What do I win

I was a bit annoyed yesterday that I spent 20 minutes doing my 7 minute journey home from work (traffic lights out and people suddenly forgot how to use roundabouts).

As much as I love London and miss being close to it, this thread highlights the benefits of not living or working anywhere near London. If its around 4k for a season ticket then i'd have to earn an extra 8k (to account for tax, NI and then season ticket) just to be on the same as now. Plus it seems like most people do almost an hour each way commuting from around the outskirts of london, which to me would feel like working an extra 20% a week. Would have to be over 100k a year for me to consider doing that again.
