Liverpool thread

Why do you think you're in any sort of position to decide how someone should feel about the sudden death of a friend that they spend just about literally every day with?

It's only because it's a rival football club. That's the only reason you think you're in that position.

Because I've lost family members and friends who ive know for over 40 years and been with them on most of the major points in each others lives. Life has to go on as you will have other equally important people needing you. I found being in my work place helped me cope with the lose.

Right. That’s you. Surely your experiences have also taught you that everyone grieves differently. Being in your workplace may well help…in this case, their workplace is where they’re reminded of it most.

I have no idea how much it’s affecting individuals or the team. My only point is that no one else knows. To write it off as an “excuse” is just so bewildering to me…and again, the only conclusion I can come to is because it’s a rival team.

The other conclusion I can make, in absence of a link or more information from @kb 1984, is that Liverpool or a representative of them have indeed never actually even said it’s the reason for their form. So it’s just more partisan nonsense from fans, looking to get whatever they can over a team they don’t like.
