Mauricio Pochettino - Sacked

He has to earn respect and our form since Jan coupled with his tactical ineptitude and lack of silverware doesn't warrant that.

BTW I think spelling Burkinshaw's name wrong is highly disrespectful.
Lol a simple typo.but to talk oftactical ineptitude is ridiculous. Yes it's been evident that things aren't right at the club for some time now, but to blame that on on po hand say he is tactically inept suggests you are living in cloud cuckoo land.

Oh here we go, the "I'm a better supporter than you" gonad*s. For me, a real supporter does not revel in the sacking of our best manager since Burkinshaw (I am presuming you saw Burky's era?????)...clown.
Been a supporter of the club since 1977.

Levy getting rid of Poch this evening was a great decision for the club.

This coincides with all the stories / rumours about Poch not really up for the fight but not wanting to be seen as a quitter. He lost the dressing room IMO and this was a mutual agreement keeping Poch’s image as a club legend in tact.

Will be a pay off like Contes I think where he gets paid until he gets another job

Unfounded fudging codswallop. fudge off.

A very hard decision to accept with equanimity.

A little under a year ago we were in second half way through the season, between Liverpool and City. It was an excellent start to the season following some good years. Since then our overall record has been very poor, disguised by a few incredible results in the Champions League.

Poch hasn't helped himself with a number of cryptic comments at critical moments, talking about leaving if we won the CL and about new challenges. Levy clearly hasn't funded him at the level he expects and, arguably, his record deserves. Perhaps this tension has spread to the players, because for some reason the performance level has tanked in the last year. The question must be could Poch turn things around. Levy has decided he can't.

Anyway, I'm off to RAWK to say that Klopp is the favourite as his successor.
