Hopefully Toby's pace wont show up as much as the wear and tear of the season goes on.
Toby’s never been quick but he’s been consistently our best defender for about four years. Still is.

I'll be amazed if we aren't having one last go today, Levy will surely be feeling the good vibes from yesterday and a bit more confidence that Jose's leadership this season will mean we can cover a higher cost as a result.Give it one more go today. This could be the final piece that elevates from battling for 3rd/4th to giving us a real shout
It’s about timing now and the bigger clubs are more in a fudge you mood if things are left lateI'll be amazed if we aren't having one last go today, Levy will surely be feeling the good vibes from yesterday and a bit more confidence that Jose's leadership this season will mean we can cover a higher cost as a result.
He is a very good stopperSerious question for those who watch Italian football - is this guy really that good that he is our sole target and we would rather wait until
Jan rather than look at alternatives? Are we taking a VVD type impact here??
Wouldn't want a deadline day without at least the possibility and excitement now would we...
Not quite dead in the water yet?

Thanks. It’s not a high bar to be our #1 centre back and agree we only want the finished arrive (especially for the fee suggested). I just thought there might be a few others in world football who would fit the bill for the price. My view, he would be our #1 CB at 25 ..
If we ended up in a situation where we couldn't close it now (e.g. because Inter needs a replacement), but we could pretty much lock it to execute in Jan, I'd wait vs. another "developing" CB
Thanks. Any viable alternatives for the same cost in your view?He is a very good stopper
And out and out defender IMO
He is one of those who would take a man down rather than let a man through

Given what we’ve seen so far this window I’m more than happy to trust Mourinho on this though!
Dealing with Napoli is known to be hardUnfortunately I think there aren't too many quality CB's out there
- Look at Dias to City, 65M+ for potential (effectively same type of purchase we made with Sanchez)
To me, I really don't understand how someone hasn't gone for Koulibaly (out of our price range)
Dealing with Napoli is known to be hard
The value the have on an older player is also I believe deemed to be a risk
He was also poor last season by his won standards so his value is mainly on previous years
Would you pay that premium now?
But those clubs may not have the moneyFor us Koulibaly is too much of a risk .. but for United, City or Pool, should be an easy move ..
