I watched another Pixar 2020 offering Onward the other day. Recommend it, good Xmas fare.

I watched 1917 (it's on Prime), best film I've seen in a while - particularly the first half of it. Nice to see a war film that isn't battle focused but still shows the grim realities of war.
Just go and post 200 fresh porn threads in the Vice Den and it’ll get changed for you.And fudges sake @scaramanga why do I have that c*nts name on my profile

I watched Ma Rainey's Black Bottom last night. I thought that it was really good. You can tell that it was adapted from a play.
I thought the performances were great. Very powerful and the two leads deserve all the praise they get but as a film I thought it was a little overhyped. Similar in a way to Fences which was also adapted from a play. Felt like I was watching a play instead of a film, again, also similar to Fences.
On the whole it’s not been a great year for films for obvious reasons but the standouts for me are;
1917
Parasite
The Invisible Man

Anyone seen Hunt for the Wilderpeople by Taika Waititi? Watched it on Prime recently having read nothing about it other than the knowledge of who directed it. Brilliant film.
Tenet was very Nolan but I defo couldn't keep up with everything that was happening. Enjoyed it nonetheless but it needs another watch.
Think it's possible he over complicated this one a bit
It's great, isn't it.
It is. I’ve tried to watch all of his earlier films. What we do in the shadows was also good but wilderpeople is the standout for me.
