OMT - Tottenham Hotspur FC vs Tamworth FC

BTW The FAs ridiculous call to get rid of replays cost Tamworth a lot of money a club like that needs

Yes, just saw a post Tw@tter. For 140 years Tamworth would have been looking forward to a massive pay day and playing at one of the top stadiums in the country.
Now all they got was playing an extra 30 mins with tired legs

Ange is talking brick.

“Hard to score goals no matter who you play against”.

For fudge sake. Have a day off Ange. We have lads on hundreds of thousands a week, top internationals and they couldn’t score against a bunch of lads who train two nights a week and then go delivering packages or selling clothes for 40 hours a week.

I know he doesn’t want to over react but that performance was unacceptable. As was what he said in that interview.

I wouldnt expect him to do as you have said .. even though some of the players deserve it based on what I have read

Could Tamworth have switched the tie?

No, it's not allowed any more. And I think even if the tie was moved to a neutral ground for safety reasons, the 'home' club can only take what they would have taken had the game been played at their ground. The surplus goes into the FA pot.

He’s got to be diplomatic but saying “it’s hard to score no matter who you play against” with the difference in level and resources is insulting to our intelligence and downright dishonest.

Great that Bergvall came on with the swagger of a lad who had just got laid for the first time.

Hopefully we're seeing where he actually is at now, after a bit of overhype in pre season, a slow slow start, now he's looking more than useful in a few positions and contending for a position in the starting line up.

Think it was Kandi who said Biss looked good, he's one who was clearly showing he was head and shoulders above the opposition, it's a shame many others weren't able to show the same thing but getting through was the main thing. A bit mad it took extra time, however credit needs to be given to Tamworth. I lived there for a few years, I wouldn't recommend it but fair play to the club, they put in an absolute monster shift today and could have nicked it close to end of normal time.

He was happy to throw Werner under the bus the other week, but he didn't call out the brick we show today.

I dislike Ally Mcoist either a passion.
I usually quite like him on the co-commentary, but I think today he was in real danger of actually combusting if Tamworth had scored. I mean I get the fairy tale aspect of it all and of course if you are not Spurs you want to see an upset, I have no issue with that, but he was so hyped up for it, it was becoming annoying.

All that matters is we are in the next round, there's no apparent injuries and the manager has learnt a bit more about some of his players.
Was it great, no, but it's a no win situation for us.
Win 5-0 and it's a shrug of the shoulders, don't and it's a disaster.
We won, that's all that matters.
