We’re under a lot less pressure but I’ve been amazed at how well they’ve defended as a pair. Fair play to them.
 
All this adds weight to some of our feeling that there is room to tweak the system without compromising the philosophy.

Our full backs are playing much more orthodoxly but we look better for it and lose nothing offensively.

We usually are cause we have decent possession but get done by balls over the back. You cut out the chance for that ball all of a sudden the opposition have to football you to score.

Bit like how Slot has turned down the Gegenpress at Liverpool which seems to be reaping dividends... pressing is nothing without control.
