OMT ** Tottenham Hotspur v Wolves ** 29 December 2024.

As you’ve followed him his career, is this injury crisis unusual or par for the course with how he plays? I understand Celtic had loads of hamstring injuries when he was there.

I see that Celtic had 6 players out with hamstring injuries during December when Postecoglou was there and we had plenty last season even when we only had 1 game per week, clearly those who do not learn from the past are doomed to repeat it….

I don't know why he didn't chuck Lankshear on today -- surely he can at least press like Solanke. But other than that...the magical youth won't solve this.

what, giving other players a day off?

pretty sure they can

it's not always about who you play, its often about who you don't

Yes, I've also seen the man in charge take continue posting the leagues highest physical stats game in game out - plus I think if we actually look at minutes played they aren't out of the ordinary either

We didn't even fudging press today! We literally sat off and let them have the ball because the players are so knackered.

I had the pleasure or maybe displeasure of basically missing this match. Saw bits in batches but couldn't actually what the whole thing so what's the synopsis? Unfortunate draw or result that matched the match?

How can you say that? You see a couple of numbers on the internet, add them up and get "it's Ange's fault."

Under Ange Celtic also got their arses kicked any time they came up against a decent side in Europe in ways not unfamiliar to any of us.

Every time? They only created one chance of note and that was their goal.
Didn't really see the game but shouldn't that be more concerning. How are they able to score from one real chance whereas it takes us numerous to get a goal.

I dunno I don't see that as a positive thing.

they potentially had a dangerous break on there, always worth taking a yellow to stop that, its smart football, one of the few things our players did take from the situational playbook today

I'm not sure it's worth the risk if VAR get involved, comms was saying it was a close run thing.

Plus the suspension aspect, after just coming back from an entirely avoidable 7/8 game suspension. Him and Bissouma are a real dumb and dumber / laurel and hardy tag team, you could justify the behaviour to a certain extent if they weren't so mediocre. I've said it before, put a proper midfielder next to Sarr and watch him flourish.

Under the circumstances we did OK, I'd say slightly unlucky to draw as their chances were very few and very poor.
If course the posters predicting we were going to lose heavily are now absolutely disgusted that we drew.

I thought Reggie did well considering his lack of playing time. Also seemed to have an understanding with Werner on when to come inside or overlap.

Why though? Gray hasn’t played a lot. Udogie has had time out. So has Bentancur. Dragusin too. Bissouma hasn’t played every game. Porro got a break.

Have our lads played more minutes than other clubs’ players?
