Radu Drăgușin

He’s 22 and played 8 games in the league. He’s already shown what he’s capable of in more familiar surroundings at the Euros.

Good height and good mix of athleticism and physicality.

Worth sticking with imo.

Without a doubt, for his age he has a lot of promise and the more he plays the more he should improve because the ability is there.

Must admit, this kid has done amazingly well in recent weeks. He has stood tall and defended well.

After his blip in the EL, I was nervous about him having so much responsibility in the league.

Fair play Dragu.

This is intriguing.
It's the kind of thing that happens when the chips are down.
Could he have continued? Or did he not want to?
If your a player right now and you can get out of the firing line you will think about it …
You anyone do it, but you will think about it for sure
I don’t think that’s the case here but …

Indeed.
Which is either a player not playing for the manager or a player that needs shipping out.
Possibly both.

I see nothing in Dragusin to suggest he's worth having around.

I think we will move him on in the summer
Ange will have seen 18 months of him
He is struggling with the speed of the game
He is a. Good player and I think in 2/3 years someone will buy him back to the prem as a rock of a CB
He does make some rash decisions currently which at be his age but he does have experience

I think he'll remaining mid table in Italy.
Reminds me of Anthony Gardner

@milo has been making similar points too, for some time.

Dragusin is a good defender, but doesn't look to be ideal in our system. If he was playing in that Forest team he would look imperious and people would be suggesting we sign him.....

This is what milo was saying too. I felt he might develop with time (and the right players around him) but he certainly won't grow with Forster and having to lead Gray leaves him with other responsibilities (albeit Gray looks like he needs NO leading!!!!)

That what I meant in my earlier comment
We don’t have poor players
But not all can play the way we want and he is one who is up and down because of it

I'd send him on loan to a promotion chasing championship team or a newly promoted one.

Really? I think he’s pretty crap. His passing is almost as bad as Davo Sanchez. Switches off at set pieces too.

I don't think so. Because Romero will be off this summer, provided he stays fit. Selling Dragusin as well would mean we would be two senior right-sided centre backs short. That's a lot of risk to be taking in one window. I think he stays until 2026.

And honestly, he's not that bad. Pace has never been his strength, and the way we play is exposing that weakness. Plus, he has very little protection and every error of his is being punished because of that - it's not a forgiving system for any centre back.

But he has his moments, and even though his passing is nothing to write home about, you can see him frequently trying to execute the line-breaking passes Romero pulls off.

My guess is, Romero goes this summer, and we spend that money on someone as cover for Van de Ven who is constantly injured - i.e, a left-sided centre back with pace.

Dragusin battles it out with Vuskovic for that right-sided centre-back slot. If it doesn't work, we sell him summer after next.
