Ryan Sessegnon

Turns out I forgot to count Anderton's cup games, meaning he actually averaged 33 appearances a season for 18 years, totalling almost 600 senior games.

A random comparison with Peter Schmeichel shows that the Dane averaged 35 appearances a season for 22 years.

Patrick Vieira averaged 32,6 appearances a year in 18 seasons.

Paul Ince: 33 appearances a year for 20 seasons (his four appearences in the last two seasons of his career not included).

Lee Dixon: Exactly the same as Ince.

Mark Hughes averaged 30,8 appearances a year for 22 seasons.

Andy Cole: 28,2 appearences in 19 seasons.

There's nuances and context here, obviously.
Ah but men were men back then ….

Classic case of Give a dog a bad name.

No surprise, too much risk there

How the fudge is he only 24?
We signed him very young
But the gamble with players getting a lot of frost team football at a young age is how they adaptation physically

I’m intrigued with Ferguson at Brighton now as he is baiter who came in very young with great physical attributes but already is getting a high amount of injuries (waits for someone to tell me it’s not injuries)

It's not injuries ;). Has an injury at the moment but besides that he's been fit for the majority of the season and has just not been used as much this season. Think it's about 50% of the games he's been sub.

Such a shame. Once one of the fastest players in the league. Had potential to be the next Bale. Just goes to show you never know. Sometimes players that get into first teams when 16 or very young, suffer for it. Maybe that was the case with Sess. He makes Anderton look like The Rock!

I'm sure he did ok when he went to Germany(?) on loan. Maybe a less physically demanding league would be better for him.

Lack of game time due to his injuries hasnt helped him develop over the last few seasons.

I hope he gets a good move and can show his qualities

He will get a good move
Palace would be a good fit IMO
