So, what happened today?

A good start to Sunday the local soft play are trying things to make money to keep afloat and did a meet and greet drive through character meet, £10 little one loved it and then McDonalds breakfast
 
Got absolutely soaked on a training ride today.

Got dinner in the hotel across the road later. Tollgate in bramber, has a carvery which is very good. Great for when neither me or the wife can be bothered to cook.
 
Is weird because it does not feel like a lockdown. The roads are as busy as ever, and so many people walking through the village at the moment.

Had a zoom video call with @thfcsteff yesterday evening and really enjoyed our chat. We discussed the first GG podcast and spoke for an hour. It was just the 2 of us. The issue was we agree on everything:

  • Dier being great
  • Sissoko being important
  • Dele needing love
  • Trump being a rooster
  • Brexit being self harm
  • Poch being a wet dream
  • Jose not being Poch
We do need dissenting voices to make the convo more lively though.

We welcome others to volunteer - we plan to discuss the City game next week and record it.

Come on fellas - get involved!

If only there were posters on here who like to take the opposite view point and wind others up...

Generally if you're having fun and banter and beer and laughing then the mood should be good...I'd say you don't necessarily need dissent all the time, can get wearing and annoying if someone is saying Sissoko is a good dribbler or Dier should be right back, but you do need fresh angles and things others haven't thought of... a bit of colour and interesting views. Maybe stories about the time you went to watch Spurs away and craaaazzzy things happened. Or just personal stories about what it meant to you, or where you were when lasagnegate happened. Maybe mention players abroad that Spurs could sign, that others wouldn't be so aware of. I guess it needs have a personality i.e. is it a deep/tactical pod, informative and focussed, rambling banter and fart jokes, special guests, Z list celebs, focused on the matches and formations or supporters or ?
