Brisket is in, few bets and waiting for the Cricket and beers...
This lockdown lark is actually fun

Looking to do the same soon. Was all set to spend a fair few bucks on a restaurant's Texas brisket but then the ass-clown owner insisted on challenging local lockdown laws and serve customers inside, jammed in with no masks. Got busted three straight days, had protests that needed police presence and set off all sorts of bitching from other businesses that are affected.
That put me off buying his food if he's that reckless about health when the Toronto area is racking up about 1,200 positive virus cases daily. Pretty sure he deliberately baited the cops and city officials as a publicity stunt. He operates 3 other locations around Toronto that didn't run afoul of the law.
But now, having viewed their videos for making brisket on a barbecue, I've got an itching to cook one myself. I'll probably give it about 3-4 hours in the oven to start, then transfer it to the BBQ and let it finish with a tray of hickory sticks smoldering away below to give it some added zing. And I'll save about $100.
My 17 year old run around Fiesta passed it's MOT, well had to have a new bulb
Had an advisory on corroded brake pipes though, mechanic said it doesn't need doing just yet though
You really need to address the way you speak about women mate
Fiesta !!!I'd assumed he was talking about the magazine
Are you in Toronto?
You got it, Pontiac. In the belly of the beeste, East York.
I don't/won't have any BBQ-ed brisket to share.
Ditto, I'm surrounded by Christmas lights etc. Best thing to do on a lockdown weekend.Went for a walk with the family, put the Tree and decorations up.
Snacks and beers in and now not leaving the house for rest of the day
