Son Heung-Min

We all knew it was coming but now it’s definitely happening I’m sad. Just proud and pleased that he got to sign off his Spurs career with that beautiful trophy and that he has something to show for his hard work and for the goals he scored. Already looking forward to him returning to WHL one day.

I reckon digital signage would be a great way for the club to go in certain spaces inside and outside the stadium. Digital signage of Son with photos and videos playing throughout match day would be amazing.
I think it’s an opportunity to do something smart
The stadium has so many niches and this could be another

Spot on. Leaving on a bit of a high at the right time I feel. He has certainly regressed and would be sad to see him continue to decline while in a Spurs shirt
Good luck to him he has earned hopefully one final pay day somewhere.

The word legend is over-used, definitely with certain individuals in the footballing world, but his goals tally and service to the club, for me personally, puts him just outside that bracket, arguably in it.

Certainly one of the club 'greats'

He's a legend for spurs no doubt about it. 5th top goalscorer all time. Captain of a trophy winning team. 10 years at the club.
He's also a legend in asia.
For football in general no. He's not up there with a messi, pele, cruyff etc...

The best goal i have seen from a Spurs player since Ricky's at Wembley.

Looking back at this goal, it is obvious his pace has diminished, but his spirit, determination and desire is still with him.

To my mind Kane may hold the Holy Grail of Spurs records, but Son is head and shoulders in front of Kane as a modern era legend to Spurs.

He carried on irrespective of Kane leaving, and has delivered us a Trophy that should have his name etched on it, as much as that of the Europe League inscription.

From a humble first season with us, to a professional that every other PL player respected, not necessarily for his skill and dedication to the game, but because of the man he is, and always will be.

Humble.

He will soon be gone, but never will he be forgotten.

Amen that I witnessed such a player.

I’m so sad that he’s leaving but also happy that he will forever be “ours”. I also think he will end up back after retiring in an ambassador capacity.

Absolute legend.

Dunno. He can aim a bit higher than ambassador for spurs. It depends what he wants to do.

I've seen it said that Son doesn't want to be involved in football after he retires, but wants to play as long as possible.

I think it was pretty clear he was leaving, but they needed him to play on tour. Could he still play against PSG?

I think club legend is appropriate. He not only had the longevity and statistics to rank as one of our best, but he was popular and held a special place with fans. It's a bit like Ardiles, who had a special something with the fans that Hoddle didn't.

As most of you know i have given Son a lot of stick the past few seasons and although i stand by what i said, there is no denying he was a world class player who will go down as a legend. It will be sad to see him go as he is Mr Tottenham but as other have said, its the right time, go out a hero helping us win our first trophy in years. Good luck Sonny.

Needs to do the fan base a favour and fudge off.

Yep. Bet you're crying.
