To be fair he seemed graceful in defeat there.

Incredible final though, congrats to Carlos, he's beaten the best and in the first set it looked like it was going to be a whitewash.

Sounds like he is calling "out" half the time which I did find annoying

Hell of a match and congrats to Carlitos! Nothing against Djokovic but Alcaraz is an exceptional player and it’s good that someone from the younger generation is finally stepping up to the plate and challenging Djokovic. I know Novak isn’t everyone’s cup of tea and he didn’t endear himself to people during Covid, but despite the BBC insisting that he enjoys being the villain I think it’s the complete opposite, he wants to be loved.

I have a bit of a cycle where I read press articles & chat about Djokovic and find myself going off him a bit, but then I watch him play and see him conduct gracious interviews post-match and like him more.
