You're so alternative and edgy, are you sure you're not a Nirvana fan ;)

It was mostly the suicide comment, but Milo's already set the record straight on that.

You obviously get more angry that some people don't like Nirvana. I don't care if they are voted greatest band ever. I still think they suck. It's depressing music from a depressed guy with a nasal voice. Also I don't like the quality of the recording, especially on this album. I don't know if it was intentional or not, but it sounds crap on a good stereo (and mine is more than good). Lot's of noise that, by my view, should not be there.

I'm perfectly calm, dude.

IMO It's probably the most depressing album in history!

I just can't stand Nirvana. It's slow, boring, over-hyped and they never would have got so much attention if not for the drug addicts suicide. Add to that his voice is awful and annoying. It's Prodigy all the way for me.

This has to be one of the most ludicrously ill-conceived critiques I have read of Nirvana. You may not like them, you may not like his voice, you may not like their hair for that matter, but "Nevermind" is not slow or over-hyped or even boring (although that last one is subjective). As for the attention comment, Cobain killed himself in April 94, but which "Nevermind" had already been one of the biggest albums in the world and they had released In Utero/were massive, etc, etc. In other words, they had plenty of attention long before his death. I think the Prodg are a top top act, but I will wager that very few here have listened to the entire "...Jilted..." album all the way through more than twice.

I've never listened to a Prodigy album, but I'll vote for them on the basis that it can't possibly be worse than Nirvana.

Nirvana go through to the semi-finals. The second quarter final will be posted tomorrow night.

Both fabulous albums. Played them to death at the time. Prodigy on good old 'cassette' as well!
