The Cricket Thread

Everyone (the wider not on here) seemingly have less patience for the game and sport, I didn't see any of yesterday but kept reading online how poor we were and now we are in a totally dominant position day 2, seems a theme all series, one bad day and the daggers have come out for us in a series we look likely to win against a very very good side.

I have enjoyed this series TBH

That's one of great things about the game, advantage can swing to either team throughout the match and a wicket can fall from every ball. Conditions did favour the bowlers and we should have bowled them out for under 200, giving them 28 runs was criminal and the lack of control relieved a lot of pressure on their team. That written England have done well against a very good side as you have indicated, hope the openers continue to put pressure on them.

Bang out of order that from the bowler, Duckett should have pushed him away. That’s got to be another fine for the Indian player.
They really haven't covered themselves in glory this series
I have no problem with proper tough nuggly test cricket but India have crossed the line many times
I honestly thought with Kohli retiring it would be a good natured series, maybe Gill wants this
