The London Taxpayers' Stadium Shambles

Looking at some of the photos earlier in the thread, they cover it with some green stuff to make it look as if the stand come up to the pitch. Problem is that the green bit is really wide

yeah

I was wondering about the gap between the rows of seating, do they cover the unused seats behind the slide in stands?

Abellio Greater Anglla Train Services :
In connection with West Ham v Juventus at the Olympic Stadium there will be additional and strengthened services to/from Stratford.

Expecting lots of fat heavy spam fans?

There are fans of many clubs who sneer at us because we supposedly live in the past and hark back to former glories (and in fairness there is some truth to that, although why we shouldn't be proud is beyond me). But at least we hark back to OUR OWN achievements and don't have to hijack the achievements of the national team to cover for our own inadequacies. In fact I can live with Spam fans doing that because a)they know it annoys everyone else and b) they really don't have much else. But for the club to officially build that into the stadium is just embarrassing.

Wouldn't surprise me if in any case they'd prefer tonight's game to not be televised, so as to keep Sunday's game as the main attraction and first showing to the "rest of the world" (well, it's on BT Sport, so limited audience anyways).

They are also having an "Opening Ceremony". Will the black cabs be doing a lap of the running track? Will Anton Ferdinand and Carlton Cole be guests of honour? Will anyone actually care?

Apparently tonights game is not being televised, because WHU feared that people would then stay at home :D

Wonder how it will effect traffic on the A12 tonight, bet it will be a nightmare for me if we both play at home on the same day.
