The Official 2017/18 Premier League Thread

Conte talking like a man who wants to be sacked. Basically "yeah, we were sh1t, maybe I got the starting XI wrong."
 
We should all want Conte to stay on till the end of the season. Last thing we need is them getting another top manager with a new manager bounce. Let the malaise continue for as long as possilble until they inevitably get rid of him.

Prob why Abramovich will pull the trigger, get someone new to give them a lift and try to secure top 4. At the moment, they look very vulnerable.

They should win the next 2 whoever is in charge (WBA and then Hull in the cup, both at home). Then they have:

Barca (h)
Utd (a)
City (a)
Palace (h)
Barca (a)
Burnley (a)
Spurs (h)

The way they are playing, they could lose almost all of those games.

Ah fudge that, this is the season we beat them at that kip.

I’ll reluctantly swallow our poor record at Anfield as it’s been going on for 100 years and as much as I detest them they’re a proper football club.

Not winning at Stamford fudging Bridge since 1990 has to stop. They aren’t a football club - they’re a bunch of scum bags who won the lotto. fudge Andy Gray and his missed penalty, fudge BMJ and his bad substitutions in the 3-3, fudge us throwing away a 2-0 lead the season before last even though I thoroughly enjoyed the kicking we gave them.

This is the season that we beat those rent boy clams on their own patch.

It's incredible that we have gone so long without winning there! Not like either club has been relegated either in that time. We beat them at home in 2006 to break the streak of 17 years of whatever it was without beating them home or away. It's been another 12 years since we broke that duck!
