Everton haven’t beaten Liverpool in 8 years so I wasn’t surprised that they were nervy and missed gilt edged chances. That’s still a very good result than us, provided we beat Stoke.

Exactly, winning the league in your fiercest rivals face would be immense.

I remember the 2-2 at white hart lane against arsenal and I was laughing at them wondering why they were celebrating a draw to be then told they’d won the league.

They can still qualify, they're good enough to get the result if they play to their potential and they can beat United at home whether they have one eye on Liverpool or not.

It may be bigger for the fans but the players would rather stay in the CL and win the title another week more so than they would get knocked out and win the league today
