The Official 2018/19 Premier League Thread

So, now the dust has settled after Monday night's game, how do people compare Emirates Marketing Project with the other challengers, especially Liverpool?

Will City walk it again this year or do we think Liverpool (or anyone else) can actually take the title chase into May?
Emirates Marketing Project weren’t great on Monday, that Mendy was awful and they allowed us a punchers chance despite taking an early lead. They still have De Bruyne to come back into the fold though who I really think is a the best midfielder in the league.
Thought Liverpool were a lot better against us but I’m not sure they quite have the game changing bench strength that City do, albeit they have shown less reliance on Salah and changing the keeper seems to have made them less of a liability defensively. What will be interesting is if Liverpool or anyone else actually applies some pressure on City whether they choke a little. CL prioritisation might make a difference in the run in as City would happily swap the league for it and I think Liverpool may feel the opposite! 3 big away results so far City though, still feel they will be the ones to beat.
Chelsea are unbelievable just when you think they are in dead they come back like a roosterroach. It’s all set up for hazard to have a wonder season and without CL who knows they could be dark horses.

Interesting isn't it; i'm actually annoyed that ourselves and Liverpool didn't put a dent in City...would have been interesting to see how Pep would have reacted if he had to chase a leader as like Jose i'm not sure he's actually comfortable at all in that position..oh well..

From what I’ve seen is far this season I’d say the best in order has been

Chelsea
Pool
City

But city have so many more gears nd will win by double digits more than the next side
Chelsea look shaky defensively
Pool don’t have the depth people think IMO
We’re not even close to purring yet and have more gears too

Dunno what you lot think of the goons v Liverpool game, but I am hoping the gooners get crushed. 2nd prize would be a draw.
