Something to keep an eye on, ASKAP J1839-0756

Behaving like a pulsar except its cycle is 6.5 hours, previously this was thought impossible as in a min is the most it could be.
Various brains have suggested it may be a magnetar, except its not giving off the correct energy waves. Others have said white dwarf, but from my understanding its too small.


This could literally mean rewriting the book on Pulsars, or it could be something new. :)
