Just kidding, while we are late at least we are on the right track getting a proper 4th CB with the right physique and attributes . I believe he and VDV will be our best combo. (sorry cuti).

Worries me a little as players that tend to keep the ball (progress/carry) are usually those who don’t see a pass quick enough/or don’t back themselves to make a pass. In the prem, the high presses could be an issue.

Anyway - after seeing the compilations of all those last ditch tackles my range of expectations for this guy are; Cult hero <-> Own goal/red card machine.

Can he play in the second leg? I’m sure there’s something in the FA Cup that players signed in between replays can’t play in the replay. I wasn’t sure if something similar applied to two legged semis. It would be awesome if he could though, albeit a baptism of fire!

Danso looks a monster. Another bum on a seat in the first instance, but also looks capable. With the metrics and stats that Lange and Co use for signings there must be a great deal of confidence that he's going to deal with the physical element of the Premier league, my issue is I wonder if he's mentally up to it.

Always weird for me when we "steal" a player from under the nose of a mid table side. when the likes of Radu and Bergvall reject bayern or barca it's great, but nicking a player off of wolves is not exactly the highlight of my week.

We signed Gray from under the nose of Brentford so it can work out.
