The transfer thread

I love the shot speed, he has a very nice hit on the ball. And that he can move on the right and left will be very usefull in angeball
Im not sure about your second sentence. From that video he's 90% on his right foot. He does use his left occasionally, but i think that shows why he's primarily classed as LWF

Yeah
Was thinking if we’re in need and the price is right would be an option
There is now a rumour that Micky is injured not rested …

Havent seen anything about VDV.
I'm not sure we would buy 2 cb's.

We weren't going to get any as it would impact Phillips and Vuskovic. But Romero and Dragusin injuries changes that.

Although Chelsea have a younger squad and seem to be doing just fine.
They have like 50 players. One of the problems for young players is that they fail to keep a certain level throughout the season. They are not consistent. Having 50 players helps because you can rotate. They did have issues because of their youth last year but recovered to 6th, which is not that impressive. Lets not forget the amount spent by Chelsea and the amount spent by us. If you can afford to buy young Ronaldo, Messi, Neymar then sure. Our average paying price for our young players is probably around £25m/player. Even with that over 1 billion spent chelsea are not exactly winning the league and I think they will fail to qualify for UCL again this year.

We aren't so far behind though. After today, we're in the 40-45 range depending on how you count bodies. Loads of ours are talented youngsters who are either on loan or in and around the 1st team. We just didn't spend a billion to do it. We invested in the academy.

And we are 15th. That is what I am trying to say. With mostly young players, even if you spend over 1 billion, you will not fight for the title. You can spend 2 billion on young players and you will still not fight for the title. Chelsea prove my point exactly. We spent less and we are 15th. You can't win if you have so many young players. Might get lucky în a cup, but you will be not be near the top în the league.

Right but we clearly never planned to win the league this season. We of course planned to be higher than we are (we still might get near there) but the point is the club is very much (re)building for the future.
