The transfer thread

We cant loan him next season. You cant loan a player out the same window as you buy him, unless its abroad (why Spence went to France rather than back to Forest). But that would screw our plans to make him homegrown

I think we can loan him out, just not to a pl club

When do you think we brought him?

We will sign him in the summer.
Deal was agreed for after he turns 18

I didnt think we're allowed to till he turns 18? Hence why his contract with us starts in July
Hmm
I thought it wasn’t about signing him
It was about “playing him”
As in he is a spurs player and signed to us
Otherwise we would have been paying for a player we didn’t own
Not sure either way and it’s definitely a new thing for us

Yeah, but thats probably where we'd want him if to be if we've got no midweek games next year.

He's already playing above championship level in belgium and we dont really want to pack him off again to spain or germany at his age.
That loan is a loan from us isn’t it?

Edit - apparently not so I’m wrong

He's still officially a Hadjuk player until 30 June, then he transfers to us. So he's on loan in belgium from them, not us.

Its a new thing to all clubs - not being able to sign foreign players till they turn 18.

He's playing for a bottom of the table club in the Belgian league. The step up from there to the premier league is massive.
On another note, he got sent off in their last game.

It is a big step up, but he would step up to a back up option with cup games. He won't be starting games yet.

Romero, VDV, Dragusin and possibly Davies or Phillips could be Infront of him. I would keep 5 of those 6.

He got a 2nd yellow for saying something to the ref in the 93rd or 94th min.

All match reports I've seen, say he first got a yellow for arguing, then continued and got a direct red. Doesn't really matter. He's done well there, but he probably needs another year before he's ready.

The game was basically finished, and Vuskovic's team mate was protesting the ref's decision and talking himself into a booking.
Vuskovic comes in and also pleads the case, which is not allowed and the ref books him.
This incensed Vuskovic because he was being polite and felt the decision was wrong AND the other booking was wrong AND his own booking was outrageous so he went mad and the ref sent him off

He's apparently been about the best defender in the league. And that league is about comparable standard to Holland or France. So its not a million miles away from Verts arriving from Ajax, perhaps a year earlier than he actually did.
