I hope @Gutter Boy doesn't leave, he's not one of my favourite posters, I understand how he feels, it's not how I feel but I understand it.
Some of us had a lot of hopes for the future under poch and no one likes to see their hopes dashed.

To be fair my views on Brexit have been misinterpreted by people who wanted to paint anyone who believed in it as a racist.

I believe gutterboy was into localism for environmental reasons, he believed in local democracy. His views on lowering the working week were very interesting and I just liked his general ethos. He was very well read. You guys just did not like that he was a bright flame in a dull world so you tried to extinguish him.

I've never felt all Brexit voters are racist. I have found that most racist people did vote Brexit due to people like Farage championing it.

To be fair ardent people can often be like this. Everyone in my circle was the same as me so I dont really know about the caricature that the bbc and guardian kept painting.

Back to gutterboy would be great to have him back here.
