I think a good focus on the EL would be positive. Next season will be a big challenge - teams know how to exploit us. Ange will have keep embedding the philosophy whilst moving onto the next phases - defensive stability and set pieces. I'd love to see us push to win the EL.

If we're in it ofcourse we should try and win it. But cl is what we should want.

Mine too and I’d imagine it’s the same for everyone on here.

However, winning the league is a much bigger and more enduring achievement than qualifying for the CL or beating Emirates Marketing Project for potentially no reward beyond the 3 points.

No-one believes the game will be thrown. Ange and the team will go out and give it their all much like we did in 1999 up at Old Trafford.

No offence but I wouldn’t say your views on Liverpool paint a picture of being strong mentally. You’ve just replayed our actual rival for a team that we don’t have any strong rivalry with.

Just watching Ange’s press conference highlights on Sky Sports News…prickly! He was so cross he even made eye contact with the questioner a couple of times.

He’s prickly in pretty much every interview. I do love him but he can be a bit a of sarky so and so at times.
