I think that we should focus transfer activity on our long term interests rather than a one off game or our third priority competition.

I agree that we need cover for Kane though. The way that Mourinho plays makes it a priority, whereas, I think that it was easier to cover with wide forwards under Poch.

I think we should focus on ensuring that we don't go into any season having to weaken two positions in the team when a single player is out.

I wonder whether a loan with option deal could suit all parties?

A loan fee of £8 to £10 million and another £20 million to make it permanent in the Summer. Something like that?
 
Have they been not offering him out to everyone?

Seems like they can’t even give him away.
