What a dingdong
You might be right. Marjorie Taylor Green looks a bit iffy.Or.... maybe we didn't. Maybe we just kept electing them?!
On a bit of a tangent - there is a film on Amazon called Civil War. It's about the US in a modern day civil war
I. Fair play to her for speaking upWhat a dingdong
Bring back some normality....like Sarah PalinYou might be right. Marjorie Taylor Green looks a bit iffy.
Yeah I saw that move a while back. Very good.
Because all he was doing was facilitating free speech and exercising his right to make a profit. Why would he pardon that dark Web drug dealer?
As for the salute by Musk...
How insulting it is people say it is because he has Abergers
I don't for one second doubt that Musk has the condition and that it is somewhat responsible for a lot of his odness..
But in all his career he hasn't done this once...
I so hope someone is able to deubnk that and explain it away.
But it comes across as if he has chosen a huge moment to dog whistle...
And it is deplorable to blame it on neurovidversity.
Unfortunately for humans the timing of social media turning up in our lives couldn't be worse.
Yes, one would think 'what a tool for connection, calibration, a vehicle for the hive mind'
But instead we have ....polarisation on virtually any subject you care to mention, evaporation of the middle ground, misinformation, critical thinking on its way out, long form discussion a thing of the past, an information feed on fast forward, time wasted on mind numbing brick, potential brain developmental issues for this generation of kids (yep the guys and girls who'll be in the thick of it in 20-30 years), and as we have seen, sovereign individuals using the (their) tool and placing themselves in control and/or with influence in the running of countries.
Certainly sounds like bad timing when there's an issue that will effect us ALL needs ALL to pay attention.
Because Donald says........Why would he pardon that dark Web drug dealer?
100% agree Steff. You'd hope that people of an older age would know better or at least harbour an awareness of the effects that could be occurring. And at least we have a memory of 'how things used to be'.Agree with all of this and would add that I think there have been brain development issues in the 40-somethings too. In fact, most people have suffered some form of brain stunting. I distinctly remember when I got my first iPhone (a week after they first came out) and I think it has certainly stunted me to some degree, as I have to practice mindfulness to do things which would've come naturally before i.e. put the thing down and read a book, etc, etc...
This all day. It's weird to see us living in a Vonnegut/Philip K dingdong/dingdongensian miss-mash world...100% agree Steff. You'd hope that people of an older age would know better or at least harbour an awareness of the effects that could be occurring. And at least we have a memory of 'how things used to be'.
Beyond the behavioural traits, I just think in adults it's the (type of) content consumed and the stark reality of how many people are open to manipulation and persuasion. How that external source has become their umbilical cord, exclusively feeding them, relentlessly ,having gained their undivided attention.
She has more courage in her little finger than all the fawning media and most of the democratic politicians combined. What a dingdong
He's not bashing the bishop is he?True to form Trump is gone after the bishop on Truth Social. This is an open goal for dems if they can just get their brick together. All they have to do is imagine what the GOP response would be and do that i.e. 24/7 outrage on all media platfoms calling him the devil incarnate (which is not far off anyway), tiki torch marches, mass prayer sessions, burning black people out of their houses (maybe leave that bit out) etc.
What they will do is the square root of fudge all.
Well Melania won't touch it.He's not bashing the bishop is he?![]()
I did admire the 'Donald force field' hat she was rocking the other day. SmartWell Melania won't touch it.
At least the Nazi's were smart and dressed well
