When the manager is being called a clam, useless, out of his depth and loads more I call that a meltdown.
I can't change the manager, neither can you or anyone else on this forum, we will not be relegated and as far as I can see there is no one out there that will come at this stage of the season that we would want.
I am 90% certain he will not start next season, why get upset about it.
i don’t know about him being a clam but he is useless and out of his depth, i think there’s enough evidence there to contribute to this not being a meltdown.

not sure why you wouldn’t get upset about it, that what happens when the team you support are losing.
obviously in the context of football and not wider life.

We have never finished bottom 6 of the Premier League. Not even under Ossie or Gross. There is a real chance it happens this season as only goal difference is keeping us above 5 other teams at the moment.

Ossie and Gross were terrible managers for us but they genuinely inherited brickshows. Ange inherited a club who had challenged for European football for pretty much 20 years straight.

That's the scale of the horrific job he's done this season. There is no argument for keeping him. He's been a disaster.
I swear you were defending him not so long ago

Think if you look at my posting history, you’ll see I said the first 10 games were an anomaly while they were happening, I said very early in his reign that he’d never win anything with us because of how we defend.

I always said I’d support him if he finished top 8 or maybe top 10 but if he got us in or close to a relegation battle I was out. That’s been my consistent position on him.

Everton was the straw that broke the camel’s back, Leicester made sure of it. Most weeks since have just confirmed my current thoughts.

I preferred Conte and certainly Mourinho football and you guys didnt even get to see my moaning at that!

This takes it to a whole new level. I dont even like watching him talk anymore, it's like someone at my work who i fudging hate in a meeting and you just dont listen to them, but people fake laugh at their crap jokes.
I’m the same can’t stand hearing him talking now.

I can't control it, why get upset about it.
There's enough stress in life without taking on more, stress is not my friend.

Was laughable the reaction to beating a bang average AZ who were also architects of their own downfall by gifting us the first goal.

We score one goal that’s a bit of free flowing football and we got the old “That’s what Ange Ball can be “ gonads.

Equally as laughable as much of the over the top Ange out stuff.

We didn't even play that well v AZ 😂

I agree but don't think levy will make that mistake (even though it wouldn't be a mistake) again.

I think this is just it

Levy knows he has had it in the neck before for pulling the trigger early. Probably wants to be able to say he has at least given Ange a run with a full strength side and exhausted every cup

And partly we probably feel it is easier to replace Ange during the summer

The performances have been just as bad as the results, if not worse. It would be somewhat understandable if you could see we were going in the right direction. We are deserving to lose all the games we are losing. We absolutely mugged Bournemouth for a draw last week. Scored from a cross and a gift of a penalty.

He is gambling 3m per league place and our only chance of European football just to avoid people having a pop at him for “pulling the trigger early again.” At some point, you have to do the right and obvious thing. Every one of his managers has been sacked for less. It’s time to pull the trigger and let the doubters say what they want. They’ll hammer Levy either way so there is no point in waiting.

The irony of the situation is this is the one time he should act now, probably should have acted earlier.

Its an Alien concept in the world of social media football, but people can change their opinion and also reach their line of "this is not going to work"

Indeed. I have changed my mind a lot on this.

I think myself that there comes a point where you have to accept if your constantly changing your mind then to have to accept moving on I don't know how to use the like button

That point applies to romantic relationships too. Surely it applies here

I don’t think outplacement is acceptable at all. I think there is a strong argument Ange gets benefit of doubt for injuries etc… but it has been pointed out by others many times already that Ange’s style might be a reason why our injury rate is so high to begin with.

We run loads but don’t have results to back they energy expenditure up

I can’t think of any manager who I can point to as unreservedly our solution

But I feel at this point almost anyone would get more out of this side and comfortable in shaking things up
