You're a bit obsessed with this Arteta thing. Ange is not Arteta, we aren't Arsenal and our circumstances are not the same. It worked out for Arteta, that doesn't mean it will work out for Ange.

You need to stop doing the straw man comparison To Arteta and instead analyse on his own merits.
That’s all true but whose merits do you want me judge?

How he's managing the team, the tactics, the structure etc. don't get me wrong you don't have to think he should be fired, I don't think we should fire him but I'm not using some random comparison to Arteta to justify it.

I'm willing to give him the time because I do like the general principles, he plays with. I'm repetitive but I just think he needs to hold the FBs back a touch and buy an actual DM.

I'm trying so hard to stay behind Ange, but this plan A, plan A, plan A nonsense is admittedly dragging me down. Is it even a good plan A?

Some would believe that Ange plays a sophisticated system that needs more time to bed in. I've been seeing a lack of sophistication for a while now. It looks disorganised and chaotic. Ange's system is also becoming so easy for PL team analysts to inform their 1st team coaches how to set up.

I wasn't surprised to see Nuno move to start with a 4-2-3-1 team and go head to head with us, using MGW and Elanga to flood the midfield. Nuno was then smart enough to move his guys into a 3-5-2 becoming 5-4-1 in the second half. Ange's system never works well against back 3's.

Worth remembering that Nuno joined Forest at the same time as Ange joined us. He's already got multiple tactical systems of play, buy in from players and only net spent £13m last summer. He has them 3rd in the table right now.

I think we now have to give it 5-6 weeks and see whether there are positive signs. It's not necessarily about results because of the fixture list and the injuries, but we need to see more with our own eyes from Ange by the end of Jan.

Thought he got it wrong today
Starting son was a bad bad call. It’s like playing with 10 men
Johnson I didn’t get starting either but Kulu looks knackered again so maybe that’s why
Ding get subbing bentacur off because he is fresh
Bringing on Bissouma at Cb also is scary
So I think he got a lot wrong today
Don’t know the actual fitness levels of course

Look where our players are when we turned it over for the goal today, what kind of shape was that, where were people actually playing?

Nuno has done a good job, but that's what any competent manager can do in a year and a half.

I wouldn't give Ange another 5 mins, let alone 5 weeks.

Ange had a 3/4 month head start on Nuno, he didn't come in till Dec

Elanga said in the post match he knew exactly how we would play and where to hit, that is the second player in a 2 games to say that

Well we all see it, it's the same every game. Win the ball high up, play it to the wide open wings. Do that enough times in a game and you will score because we are open for that, every single game.

Hopefully tonight or tomorrow. Some have been sacked by Levy for less, can't see why he has kept him in a job. However, two more losses in a row and our prayers will be answered

Levy won't do it until he has enough fans wanting Ange out. Otherwise he'll get all the blame and not just some.

Literally.

Actually looking at the table and thinking we have Saudi Sportswashing Machine and Arsenal coming up.

Decision needs to be taken sooner rather then later to make sure the new guy has time.

I just can’t see them getting rid before the first leg of the semi-final. Lose that in a way that suggests we won’t recover in the second leg and he’s in serious difficulty, I think.

It's odd because Bedford has been a brilliant poster over the years. Odd how in life people double down on something despite evidence to the contrary, often the is something going on inside the person.

League form for 12 months has been horrendous and is now dangerous. Let alone a deep dive into the actual tactics etc.

He is treating Ange as though he is one of the tourists and women that he blames for all things wrong in football

How many beatings do you have to take, before realising maybe he's not the right guy for you?
Just because one of your girlfriends blokes turned it around doesn't mean you should make excuses every time you get your arse ripped apart.

Yep

I imagine once we are out of the league cup and maybe after arsenal league game to give the new guy a breather.

One thing is for certain, the club are going through their list of replacements..
